Sarah Rogier has nearly two decades of experience in fundraising and nonprofit communications with a background in child welfare, juvenile justice, youth mentoring, and serving underrepresented children and families. Known for her passion, persistence, and problem-solving skills, she is a strategic thinker who leads organizations through the complex process of grant writing and management.

She is an accomplished fundraiser with a portfolio of more than $50 million successfully won through grant writing. Sarah has significant experience telling the stories of nonprofit organizations, writing grants, analyzing data, and developing budgets and evaluation plans. She has successfully written grants for K-12 schools, colleges and universities, units of government, and nonprofit and community-based organizations. Her areas of expertise include youth development, mental health and addiction services, homelessness and housing, workforce development, and educational services for youth from preschool to postsecondary success.

Sarah holds a bachelor of arts in sociology from Ball State University and a master of public affairs with a concentration in nonprofit management from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. The professional accomplishment she is most proud of is being named 2017 Big Sister of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.

When she isn’t raising money and writing, she can be found in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, spending time with her husband, stepsons, and the Chief Happiness Officers of Sarah Writes Grants—her Boston Terriers Pete and Penny.
